Loughcrew Throw

Inspired by the cairns at Loughcrew. The Gaelic name for Loughcrew translates as the Witches Hill. The Irish witch, a respected figure, our winter deity and shaper of landscape, was running across the country when large stones fell out of her woven apron to form the cairn on Loughcrew.
